Nawrocki got off to a hot start this spring at Clemson, but a freak injury hampered his production and he wound up hitting .264/.352/.400 with nine extra-base hits, 24 RBIs and 11 stolen bases. Tools and athleticism are the names of the game with Nawrocki, who recently announced his commitment to South Carolina. The 6-foot-2 infielder has a plus arm on the left side—which is where he figures to stick long term—is an above-average runner once underway and has flashed legitimate impact at times this summer with wood. His hit tool lacks polish, though, and cleaning up the swing decisions and improving upon his contact rate against secondary pitches will go a long way in maximizing his upside.
