While he doesn't have the same overall feel for hitting as his teammate Luis Jimenez, Castillo has the edge in raw power. His rates as plus-plus, and the ball makes a different sound coming off his bat. How frequently that power will show up in games at higher levels is a different story, as Castillo struggles with pitch recognition, especially with breaking balls. While his upside is considerable, his flameout potential is just as big. Castillo is a solid-average runner out of the box and a tick better underway. He projects as a right fielder with a plus arm.
