Will Startup

Startup was throwing in the low 90s with a power slider at times late last season, but his stuff has been a grade lower this year as he pitched without the same adrenaline rush he got in the postseason. His most attractive traits are his competitiveness (which some scouts say was better last year) and durable arm, which got a workout in a dual starting/relief role this spring. Startup's rough junior year could lead to come back for a shot at redemption as a senior.
