    Fourth-year junior RHP Kevin Guyette pitched better this year than in any season since he was a top prospect as an Arizona high school senior in 2001. He significantly improved the command of his hard, biting curveball this year, but scouts say his suspect mechanics will prevent him from throwing his fastball harder than 86-88 mph.
