Drafted in the 13th round (404th overall) by the New York Yankees in 2013 (signed for $100,000).
View Draft Report
Along with projected early-round picks Jonathan Gray and Dillon Overton, Coshow was part of a banner Oklahoma recruiting class in 2010, but he never did much for the Sooners. He redshirted in 2011 and worked just 13 innings in 2012, prompting his transfer to Oklahoma Christian. He helped pitch the Eagles to their first national tournament appearance in 41 years, as they advanced to the National Christian College Athletic Association World Series. Though Coshow is 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds and much watch his conditioning, his arm works well. He pitches with a 91-96 mph fastball, and he'll show feel for a curveball and changeup. He has a fresh arm after not pitching much in the previous two seasons, but he's still figuring out control and command.
