Prosinski was a four-year starter for Seton Hall and starred in college baseball's BBCOR bat era, going 23-11, 2.67 in his final three seasons with a stellar 211-62 strikeout-walk ratio in 297 innings. Prosinski competes well and was the Pirates' No. 1 starter for his final three-plus seasons, getting a regional victory in 2011 against Arizona. He commands his fastball, changeup and slider, and his fastball will sit in the 88-92 mph range. He pounds the strike zone and has a knack for making pitches in key situations.
