The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Williams is a standout wide receiver, and he has an excellent pitcher's body as well, and scouts can dream on his athletic ability and projection. His fastball has touched 91-92 mph but he more often works in the mid- to upper 80s. His breaking ball and changeup lack consistency. Williams has never been a full-time baseball player and could take off with coaching and physical maturity. Scouts were trying to determine how signable he was away from Nicholls State, where he has committed for football.
