Drafted in the 4th round (127th overall) by the Houston Astros in 2016 (signed for $430,000).

A thick (6-foot, 230-pound) lefty with a pair of above-average offerings, Adock has a lot to work with, but the team picking him will know that it has a significant job helping him improve his control and command. It's a testament to Adcock's 91-93 mph fastball and his breaking ball that he managed to post a 3.22 ERA despite walking seven batters per nine innings. No one really squared up Adcock this year (.190 average against) but hitters who stayed patient often jogged to first base. While he was a weekend starter for the Wolverines, there's a good chance he'll become a power lefty reliever in pro ball.
