Jerry Keel has trimmed up his body over his four seasons as Cal State Northridge's top starter, going from 280 pounds to a listed 240 pounds on his 6-foot-4 frame. He's proved durable, logging more than 90 innings in each of his four seasons, and his arm works well. His best two pitches are a fastball that touches 93 but usually sits 88-90 with some arm-side run and a solid 12-to-6 curveball. He also has some feel for a changeup.
