Graham entered the season with big expectations after he led the Pacific-12 conference with 22 home runs as a sophomore, but he got off to a miserable start that sank his draft stock early. He recovered late in the year and got red-hot down the stretch to help lead Stanford to a third straight College World Series appearance and finished batting .315/.390/.558 with 15 home runs. Graham is a strong 6-foot-2, 232-pound righthanded hitter with plus-plus raw power. He crushes balls when he connects with top-of-the-scale exit velocities, particularly to his pull side. Graham tracks pitches well, but he struggles to keep his swing on plane and is prone to falling behind in counts and chasing out of the strike zone. He projects to be a below-average hitter who relies on tapping into his power. Graham is limited defensively to first base, where he is an average defender with sneaky agility. He is a clubhouse leader with top-of-the-scale makeup and dugout presence. Graham’s power and leadership traits have teams interested on the draft’s second day. He may be able to exceed expectations if he can maintain the offensive improvements he made in the second half of the season.
