Christian is a big and physical 6-foot-5, 225-pound outfielder first baseman who spent two seasons with Point Loma Nazarene before moving to San Diego for the 2024 season. He had a terrific year and slashed .364/.460/.828 with 26 home runs and 14 doubles—leading the team in most offensive categories. Christian has plus raw power and can leave the yard to all fields, but that power comes with considerable contact questions and he’s also struggled to replicate his power production with wood bats in both the Northwoods League in 2022 and the Cape Cod League in 2023. Christian was San Diego’s everyday right fielder this spring but scouts believe he has average defensive tools for first base in pro ball.
