A loose, athletic righthander, Massey had an awful 2022 season, going 2-8, 6.52 with 64 hits allowed and 39 walks in 59.1 innings. He struck out 63. As rough as his year was, he has the tools to be a useful pro pitcher. His loose, athletic arm generates a fastball into the mid 90’s and compliments with a sharp breaker. Scouts agree there’s plenty of upside left as Massey is still coming in to his own.
