Davis is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound lefthander who put together a pair of strong seasons with Sam Houston State out of the bullpen and also pitched well in 2023 in the Cape Cod League. He transferred to Oklahoma for the 2024 season and moved into a starting role, where he’s had less impressive results and below-average control. He works off a three-pitch mix, including a low-90s fastball that has been up to 95, a changeup in the low 80s with heavy arm-side action and a slurvy breaking ball in the low 80s with solid depth.
