Dragoo is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound outfielder who has been one of the most impressive pure performers in the country in 2024. He slashed .408/.507/.799 with 16 home runs in 51 games after two extremely middling seasons in 2022 and 2023 and a solid but unspectacular summer performance in 2023 in the Appalachian League. That checkered history will leave scouts torn about his future potential, especially since he doesn’t show huge raw power in batting practice, doesn’t turn in plus run times and might not stick in center field in pro ball. Analysts will likely come away more excited about Dragoo’s profile given his 2024 numbers, and he has done a nice job cutting his strikeouts year over year, but he remains a polarizing player in the 2024 class.
