Stanford OF Brian Hall went undrafted as a junior but is a candidate to be selected in the first 10 rounds. He was a touted prep recruit from New Mexico who struggled early in his Stanford career, falling behind classmates Sam Fuld and Carlos Quentin on the field and on draft boards. However, he out-performed Fuld this season, overcoming a slow start with a long hitting streak to push his average close to .400. He showed improved plate discipline and more strength, enabling him to drive balls. He's also a sound base runner who knows how to steal a base. Hall has played outfield, third base and first base for Stanford but profiles best at second in pro ball.
