Rossiter was drafted by the Rays in the 46th round in 2011 out of Central Arizona JC, then again last year in the 32nd round by the Pirates as a junior for the Sun Devils. He figures to go much higher this time around thanks to his polished skills behind the plate. He isn't physical at 5-foot-11 and 184 pounds, but he can really catch and throw and handles a pitching staff well. He has an average arm and makes up for it with his above-average footwork and transfers, as well as his accuracy. Rossiter won't be an impact bat, but he could grind his way to the big leagues with his defensive skills and work ethic.
