School: North Cobb Christian HS, Kennesaw, Ga. Commit/Drafted: Georgia
Age At Draft: 19
Mullinax is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound outfielder and switch hitter with an exciting blend of athleticism, raw tools and a lengthy underclass track record of hitting. Previously viewed as a potential first round pick, Mullinax’s swing backed up during the 2023 showcase season, particularly from the left side where he developed a deep arm bar and struggled to consistently get on time and make contact. Mullinax might be a better hitter from the right side though scouts did note that he got rid of the arm bar and shortened his load during the spring. He has a chance for plus raw power though in order to tap into that he’ll need to find a more repeatable and consistent swing like he showed as an underclassman. Mullinax has strong legs and quick-burst athleticism that allows him to accelerate in a hurry and get to his double-plus speed in center field. He also has plus arm strength from a long, winding arm stroke that gives him another defensive tool, though he needs to continue refining his routes and instincts in the outfield. Mullinax will be 19 on draft day and an eligible sophomore if he makes it to campus at Georgia. He could be a tough sign, but he has the tools and athleticism to climb draft boards with SEC performance.

Previously viewed as a potential first round pick, Mullinax’s swing backed up during the 2023 showcase season, particularly from the left side where he has a deep arm bar and struggled to consistently get on time and make contact. He might be a better hitter from the right side, and he’ll need to address some of his miss questions in order to tap into the plus raw power that he has in the tank. Mullinax has strong legs and quick-burst athleticism, accelerating in a hurry into plus-plus speed in center field. His plus arm from a long, winding arm stroke is another asset for him in the outfield. If Mullinax can rediscover the offensive form he showed as an underclassman he fits as a day one talent thanks to his electric upside and toolset. He is older for the class and committed to Georgia.
