Farone is a big and physical 6-foot-6, 240-pound lefthander who is pitching his way into priority senior sign territory early in the 2024 season. He spent two years at Herkimer (N.Y.) JC where he dominated then pitched as a reliable starter and reliever for Louisville in 2023. He moved to Alabama for his 2024 senior season and through his first six games posted a 1.71 ERA with 25 strikeouts and just three walks. Farone sits in the 90-94 mph range and has touched 95 with a fastball that he dominates the zone with and also mixes in a low-80s slider, upper-70s curveball and mid-80s changeup.
