Tibbitts is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound first baseman and catcher who was one of Indiana’s best hitters in 2023 when he slashed .357/.447/.585 with 10 home runs and 17 doubles. A catcher in high school, Tibbitts has gotten some playing time behind the dish in 2024 and has looked solid with his receiving blocking and throwing. He’s turned in a few average throws to second base and seems to move well at the position despite his size and lack of playing time at catcher in college. Offensively Tibbitts has some power to the pull side but an aggressive approach that might need to be reigned in.
