He’s a ground ball–oriented starter with a sinker/slider combination that has never led to a significant amount of swing-and-miss, but has translated to a ground-ball rate north of 50% in his career and a 58% ground-ball rate in 2024. His fastball averages 92 mph and touches 95, and his average slider checks in around 82-86.
