View Draft Report
A four-year starter for North Carolina, Serretti has been a consistent and reliable switch-hitting middle infielder for the program and is coming off a career-best year in 2022. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound infielder slashed .365/.437/.567 this spring, with 10 home runs and 17 doubles, while cutting his strikeout rate (12.6 K%) considerably compared to the 2021 season (20.0 K%). While Serretti swung the bat well from both sides of the plate, most of his power came as a lefthanded hitter, and he showed the juice to leave the park to both gaps. He’s a reliable, but not a flashy defender in the infield, though his arm might make him a better fit for second base than shortstop at the next level.
