McEntire is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound righthander who has become one of Arkansas’ most reliable bullpen options and part of one of the better pitching staffs in the country. He’s extremely old for the class and turns 24 a month after the draft, but his fastball/slider combination and performance could make him a senior target on day two. He pitches heavily off his slider/cutter hybrid in the low 80s and backs the breaking ball with a fastball that averages 89-90 and has been up to 93.
