Jewett is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound righthander who spent his first two seasons in the bullpen at UCLA. He moved to a starting role in 2024 and has pitched well in that role that his stuff has backed up a bit in longer outings. He pitches in the low 90s with a four- and two-seam fastball and touches 94-95, but in 2023 as a reliever he averaged 94 and touched 97. His secondaries have also lost a bit of zip in a starting role. He throws a low-80s slider, mid-70s curveball and mid-80s changeup, but would likely focus on the fastball/slider combo if he moves back to the pen in pro ball.
