  A fourth-year junior, Kennedy was seen as a potential day two pick heading into the 2021 season, but he struggled all year at the plate. In 2022, he showed solid improvements in his approach and impact at the plate, although he battled a hamstring injury. He hit .300/.386/.471 with seven home runs and 10 stolen bases. A plus runner, Kennedy’s profile is a tricky one. He doesn’t seem to have the reads, routes or instincts to play center field, and his slap-hitting top/bottom of the lineup offensive game doesn’t fit what many teams look for in left field. He has a below-average arm. A team could try to see if Kennedy can adjust to center field, which would help him fit better on a pro roster, but his limitations make him a late-round pick at best.
