Kash transferred from Texas to Texas Tech in 2023 and had one of the better offensive seasons in college baseball. He hit .326/.397/.689 and tied for fifth in the country with 26 home runs after playing in just 15 games for Texas in 2022. He followed up with another solid campaign in 2024 when he hit .300/.365/.561 with 15 homers. A 6-foot-3, 210-pound first baseman, Kash is a power-over-hit offensive player with a 21.6% career strikeout rate in college who struggles to identify pitches and make contact—though when he does he can drive the ball a long way to all fields. He has above-average raw power with a big, long and uphill swing with solid bat speed that can handle elite velocity. However, he has contact questions against all pitch types and chases secondaries out of the zone too frequently. Kash has some experience in the outfield corners and played a handful of games at third base in the California Collegiate League in 2022 but he’s a first base only prospect in pro ball who is fine at the position but will primarily have value via accessing his power in games.
