Meola is a 6-foot-1, 207-pound infielder who spent his first two seasons at Oklahoma State as a part-time third baseman before sliding into the team’s everyday second base job in 2024. He also had a career-best year and slashed .336/.411/.591 with a career-best nine home runs while cutting his strikeout rate from 27.4% to 20.9%. Meola has a bit of pull-side power but he’s an aggressive hitter who will expand the zone and might always be a bit strikeout prone with a large leg kick and an effortful swing that features plenty of length. Meola spent parts of two summers in the Cape Cod League where he struggled in 26 games with a 34:10 strikeout-to-walk rate.
