The toolsy, 6-foot-2 205-pound outfielder carried the momentum he gained from the summer and fall circuit into the spring. Scouts rave about the athleticism Stanwich possesses that also comes along with a strong offensive approach. Striding into the ball, the classic two-hand swing he unleashes stays in the zone with plus bat speed and slight lift that creates exit velocities surpassing 105 mph. The Tennessee commit displayed strength to all fields at major events in 2021 and his power grade projects to improve even more as he continues to mature. Stanwich brings a solid defensive skill set to his game. He should be able to play all three outfield positions with big arm strength and throws that have been clocked up to 97 mph. His instincts and quick first step bring him deep into the gaps to make the difficult play. An above-average runner, Stanwich’s speed plays on the base paths as he picks up steam as he goes. Like most Northern baseball prospects who have come before him, it may take a bit more time for Stanwich to fully come into his own.
