Hylton is an extra-large, 6-foot-6, 210-pound infielder and outfielder who has played first base and the outfield corners. He has the raw power to profile in whatever corner outfield position he ends up in but will need to improve the consistency of his swing and his approach to fully tap into that power. Hylton has shown a tendency to expand the strike zone and even within the zone he has swing-and-miss tendencies thanks to his long levers. He does take big, aggressive swings with a steep bat path that will lead to towering home runs when he does make contact, and he can add even more weight and strength to his frame in the next few years. Hylton has turned in above-average run times in the past, but projects as an average or fringy runner in the future. There’s upside here with his power potential, but where a team views Hylton’s hit tool will determine whether they want to try and buy him out of a Stetson commitment.
