School: NC State
Commit/Drafted: Never Drafted
Age at Draft: 21.2
Serrano was a notable prep prospect thanks to his big frame, solid raw power and bat speed that made him seem like a solid prospect even at one of the offensive-first defensive positions. Now a draft-eligible sophomore at NC State, Serrano has moved from first base to center field after a solid 2023 freshman season where he homered seven times and added 12 doubles. While Serrano doesn’t look like a center fielder in the long run, showing the ability to move around the outfield and perhaps profile at a corner could help his profile as long as he keeps hitting and showing more power. He still has some physical projection remaining with a lanky 6-foot-5, 201-pound frame.

School: Pro5 Baseball Academy, Apex, N.C. Committed/Drafted: North Carolina State
Age At Draft: 19.2
An extra-large corner infielder, Serrano is listed at 6-foot-5, 195 pounds and was named a third team preseason All-American by MLB scouting directors. He has solid raw power to the pull side presently with good bat speed from the left side, but a swing that can get lengthy and a bit steep at times. He looks like a classic corner profile who should find a home in left field, right field or first base, and he should settle into a fringe-average runner as he fills out his frame. He moves well now but could slow down when he adds more muscle and mass to a still-projectable frame. Serrano is old for the class and will be a draft-eligible sophomore at North Carolina State if he makes it to campus.
