A tall and projectable two-way player, Tejeda has upside on the mound as a righthander pitcher but has also shown off impressive raw power as a switch-hitting corner infielder. The 6-foot-7, 215-pound Florida commit has tons of room remaining to fill out and add strength to his frame as he develops and has a chance to be a legitimate two-way player in college. He’s a below-average runner who will probably fit best at first base, but MLB teams might be more interested in his upside on the mound. He has a fast arm for his size and throws a fastball that’s been into the mid 90s at best already, with a mid-70s breaking ball and low-to-mid-80s changeup.
