Spoljaric is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound righthander who is one of the better Canadian prospects of the 2022 class. The son of former big league pitcher Paul Spoljaric, Turner has shown a pair of potential above-average pitches in his fastball and curveball. He pitched in Baseball Factory’s All-America game last summer where he was up to 92 mph and showed a solid curveball in the upper 70s, with shape that ranged from three-quarters to 11-to-5 and looked like an above-average pitch when he hit on it. This spring he pitched with Florida-based TNXL Academy and showed similar stuff, with better spin rates on his curveball and mixed in a two-seam fastball variant in the upper 80s. Spoljaric is old for the class and will be a draft-eligible sophomore in 2024 if he makes it to campus at Oregon.
