He proved a useful part of the Razorbacks bullpen, although a rough final outing (four earned runs in one inning against N.C. State in the Super Regional) added a full run to his ERA, boosting it to 5.10. Costeiu demonstrated he can get above hitters’ bats with elevated fastballs.
