    A big, 6-foot-6, 215-pound lefthanded hitter with a simple swing, McColl has athletic bloodlines as his father and uncle both played in he NFL. He had a loud summer in the Valley League that drew scouts attention and then tapped into more power than he ever has before this spring in the Ivy League, hitting .399/.462/.734 with 12 home runs.
