Hadley emerged as one of UCLA's top relievers this year and drew high praise from scouts for the way he competes on the mound. He finished the regular season on a run of 10 scoreless innings. Hadley sits 90-91 mph and touches 93 on his fastball. His slider is his swing-and-miss pitch and projects well for matchups with righthanders. Hadley's stuff plays up with deception and funk. He projects to be picked on the draft's third day.

Draft Prospects
Undersized but very athletic, loose and wiry, Hadley is tailor made for the bullpen, where his aggressiveness and bravado fit perfectly. He attacks hitters with an 88-91 mph fastball and has very good feel to spin a sharp slider that generates swing-and-misses. He also throws a curveball with more vertical break, and he tinkers with a changeup, though he sometimes slows his arm down when he throws it. Hadley's quick-twitch athleticism gives him some growth potential despite his high-effort delivery, and his stock figures to rise with three years at UCLA under the direction of John Savage.
