  At 5-foot-9, 195 pounds, Fields resembles Marlon Byrd physically as a stocky center fielder with average speed. He's already been drafted twice and figures to go out this time around. His poor throwing arm precludes a move to right field down the line, so he'll have to maintain his speed and instincts and stay in center to have a shot at the big leagues down the line. His short, direct path to the ball helps him make consistent contact, but his lack of power hindered his production this spring.
