A steady pitch ability lefthander, the 6-foot, 181-pound Watson has appeared in a variety of roles for the Bruins. He started mid-week and relieved weekends as a freshman, starting 15 times and relieving 20 times. He's proved durable, logging 89 innings or more in each of his four seasons, and he fills up the strike zone (2.3 BB/9 over 376 career innings). Watson spots an 86-89 mph fastball and has a future as a lefty reliever thanks to his ability to locate a solid-average mid-70s curveball. He adds a changeup and can mix in a slider.
