Osbolt had a respectable spring for the Owls in which he worked a 4.48 ERA with 51 walks to 25 strikeouts across 70.1 innings, but he is currently tearing it up on the Cape to the tune of a league-best 0.44 ERA with 14 punch outs in 20.2 innings. Osbolt moves well on the mound and has an athletic delivery with easy arm speed. His fastball sits in the low 90s and has been up to 96, but his slider has the look of a potential future plus pitch. Osbolt’s changeup is at least above-average as is, and it’s a pitch he’s shown comfortability throwing to both left and righthanded hitters.
