Strong is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound lefthanded hitting outfielder who has turned in back-to-back strong seasons with Canisius after playing in just 18 games during his 2022 freshman season. This spring he hit .350/.482/.621 with 11 home runs and more walks than strikeouts for the first time in his career. He pairs a below-average hit tool with above-average raw power and while he has played mostly right field in his college career, there are some teams who believe he can run well enough to get a chance in center field. Strong played in the MLB Draft League after the spring season and is young for the college class.
