Sabourin made a loud statement at the beginning of the 2024 summer at the Perfect Game Junior National showcase, where he touched 91 mph and piled up swinging strikes on his slider. He will still be 17 on draft day, so he’s one of the youngest players in the 2026 class. He has a good delivery and is already up to 92 mph. He should have mid-90s or better velocity once he layers on more strength to his lean frame. His low-80s slider isn’t an especially high-spin pitch, but it has hard, sharp bite and he’s able to execute it down in the zone to get empty swings and chases. Those are his two primary pitches, but Sabourin has flashed feel for a changeup as well.
