Schwartz is a large 6-foot-4, 210-pound catcher and righthanded hitter with big power and arm strength that has allowed him to get into the low 90s on the mound. His physicality, raw power and arm strength are his calling cards, though his swing comes with a bit of stiffness in the box and a large leg kick that could make him more of a power-over-hit bat. He’s a pull-heavy hitter who should wear out left field with hard hit balls and deep flies. Defensively Schwartz has the tools to catch, but his size and current actions will make sticking there at the next level an uphill battle and he could move off the position to first base or perhaps corner outfield. He’s committed to Kentucky and will be 19 on draft day and a draft-eligible sophomore in 2026 if he makes it to campus.
