Bagwell is a 6-foot-3, 230-pound righthander who pitched in the 90-93 mph range during the 2023 summer but in the spring of 2024 he pushed his average fastball closer to 93 and was running the pitch up to 96 mph at peak. In addition to the fastball Bagwell throws a 77-81 mph slider that has a chance to become an average offering. He also has a mid-80s changeup that could become another serviceable pitch though he doesn’t use it often. Bagwell has plenty of effort in his delivery with a head whack and fall off to the first base side that could limit his control and add reliever risk, but his arm speed is whippy and quick and his lower three-quarters arm slot could help his entire arsenal play up.
