Moss is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound righthander with a solid foundation of pitchability that comes with a lean, athletic and repeatable delivery. He fills the strike zone with ease though scouts still have to project to get to an average fastball. He touched a few 93- and 94-mph heaters early in the 2024 season but mostly sits around 90 and has a chance for average secondaries between a short-breaking slider and a changeup that gets to around 80 mph. Moss does have a lengthy arm stroke, but given his feel for pitching it hasn’t been a significant concern. He’s committed to UCLA and has the skills to be a consistent starter for the program, with more upside in the future if he can add strength to his frame.
