One of the top offensive performers on the 2024 summer circuit, Peterson has power tools that stick out. He’s 6-foot-3 with a strong, physically mature build for his age with big raw power. He doesn’t have to sell out his swing to generate that power, staying inside the ball well with a short lefthanded stroke to use the whole field. He can drive the ball with impact to the middle of the field with the potential to grow into a 25-plus home run threat. Peterson has experience at third base, the outfield and behind the plate as well. His above-average arm is his best defensive asset and he has improved his quickness to become an average runner. Peterson pitches as well, throwing strikes with a fastball he can run up to 94 mph and pairing it with a sharp, biting slider in the low-80s that has tight rotation.
