  Track Record: Perdomo signed for the largest bonus of any international prospect in the 2024 class when the Braves signed him for $5 million. That figure was the largest bonus ever for a Venezuelan born prospect and put him in a similar tier as Padres catcher Ethan Salas from the 2023 class, though on signing day Perdomo was no longer regarded as the top player in the class on talent. He is the most prominent international prospect the Braves have signed since their international restrictions have been lifted.
  
  Scouting Report: Perdomo’s hitting ability is the main draw. He has a quick and direct swing that he employs with above-average hand-eye coordination that allows him to make contact against both velocity and spin. He’s been an aggressive hitter, but his track record of performance set him apart early in his amateur career and as he’s added strength more power production has followed. Perdomo previously was expected to move to either second or third base, though he has made strides as a defender and should have a chance to stick at shortstop, where he is a plus runner with solid actions and above-average arm strength.
  
  The Future: Perdomo immediately becomes one of the most exciting hitting prospects in Atlanta’s system, but like all international prospects, there’s plenty of uncertainty in his profile and a long timeline before he will be expected to contribute in the majors.
