Travis Eckert

Eckert started his college career at Temple (Texas) JC before transferring to Oregon State. The Austin, Texas, native was a member of the rotation both years and came on late, stifling Southern California and UCLA in his final two starts. Eckert's fastball came on his senior year, ranging from 88-93 and then improving late, with some 94s and 95s at times. His changeup is ahead of his slider, but at times he pitches with three average pitches, with the fastball and change flashing above-average. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder was a 20th-round pick in 2015 (Giants).
