An all-state basketball player, Lamb rewrote the Bedford record books and averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior. He drew interest from Big 10 Conference hoops teams as a sophomore, and while that waned, he could play basketball at a mid-major program. Instead, the 6-foot-7, 195-pounder will use his athleticism on the diamond, most likely at Michigan for the next three years. He has good body control for his size and his arm works well. Lamb can run his fastball up to 93 mph, though he also can work in the mid-80s as times. His secondary pitches are rudimentary at this point, but he's a projectable athlete who could blossom into an early-round pick for 2016 if he doesn't sign this year.
