Wofford had a solid junior year at Wofford, thanks to his potent fastball-breaking ball combination. He has a solid-average fastball in the low 90s and flashes above-average potential with his slurvy breaking ball. Leftwich has more control than he does command, and did not dominate despite excellent strikeout and walk numbers in 2015. He is the son of former Major League pitcher Phil Leftwich.
