A 33rd round pick out of high school in 2013, Leblanc opted to attend prep school for a year before enrolling at Pittsburgh. He was seen by scouts a lot this season, and he played shortstop behind likely first-round pick T.J. Zeuch. Leblanc's best tool is his bat. He showed the ability to consistently put the ball in play as a draft-eligible sophomore this year. Leblanc batted .405 this spring. His 6-foot-4 body makes him unlikely to stick at shortstop long term. Leblanc is extremely young for an eligible college player, having turned 20 in early June.
