Track Record: Ramos signed with the Dodgers for just $30,000 out of Panama and broke out with a big season across the Rookie and Low-A levels in his stateside debut in 2021. He entered 2022 looking to build on that momentum, but he instead struggled to make contact against higher-level pitching. He struck out 169 times across Low-A and High-A, second-most in the Dodgers organization, and was left unprotected in the Rule 5 draft.
Scouting Report: Ramos an athletic outfielder who has the raw ingredients to hit. He has elite bat speed, a smooth, rhythmic swing and plus raw power he shows off with 400-foot plus home runs to all fields. He crushes fastballs and isn't fazed by velocity in any part of the zone. Ramos struggles to recognize or lay off breaking balls, resulting in bad plate discipline and poor quality at-bats. He's overly aggressive in his approach and swings and misses at almost any breaking pitch, limiting him to a well below-average hitter. Ramos is an average runner who gets good reads and runs clean routes in the outfield. He is an above-average defender in right field and a playable one in center with a plus-plus, accurate arm that produces jaw-dropping throws.
The Future: Ramos' power and defense give him a chance to be a bench bat. He'll have to learn to recognize spin to be more.
Scouting Grades: Hit: 30. Power: 50. Speed: 50. Fielding: 55. Arm: 70. -
Track Record: Ramos signed with the Dodgers for $30,000 out of Panama when he was 17 and immediately emerged as a potential sleeper in the system. Ramos torched the Arizona Complex League to earn a promotion after only 15 games to Low-A Rancho Cucamonga, where he hit.313/.377/.559 over the final two months.
Scouting Report: Ramos is a strong, aggressive hitter who feasts on fastballs. He has a smooth, rhythmic swing with plenty of bat speed and strength. He turns fastballs around 400-plus feet with his plus raw power and posts some of the highest exit velocities of any Dodgers prospect. Ramos struggles to recognize breaking balls, but he’s adept at working himself into fastball counts and playing to his strengths. Ramos is a playable defender in center field and above-average in right field with his average speed and clean routes and reads. His best tool is his plus-plus, accurate arm that makes jaw-dropping throws.
The Future: Ramos will have to better learn to recognize or lay off breaking stuff. If he does, he could be an everyday, power-hitting right fielder.

Ramos stood out quickly in extended spring training for his power and ability to crush a fastball. He still has trouble recognizing and adjusting to spin, but his power and solid athleticism bode well for his future.
