Huffman's been a fast riser this spring, catching scouts' eyes with an 88-92 mph fastball from the left side. He has a big, athletic body and throws downhill with good life on the ball. His frame and three-pitch mix give him a chance to stick as a starter, though his slider will need to get better. He gets more swings and misses with his changeup, as he has good feel for it and generates nice deception. If everything comes together, Huffman has the look of an innings-eating workhorse.
